The Clear + Brilliant® Laser is a unique skincare treatment that uses fractional laser technology to address the early signs of aging skin and help prevent them, as well as improve tone and texture. The Clear + Brilliant® Laser is gentle and refreshes your skin from the inside out. The laser works by creating microscopic treatment zones in the upper layers of the skin, replacing damaged skin with healthy tissue, for younger looking skin.

Each of the Clear + Brilliant® Laser Resurfacing offerings serves a unique purpose. The Clear + Brilliant® Perméa laser Resurfacing offers visible enhancements in tone and radiance, while the original Clear + Brilliant® Laser Resurfacing is optimized to improve your skin’s texture. During a consultation and skin analysis, your medical aesthetician can discuss the best treatment plan for you.

Most patients describe a very gentle pricking feeling and an increased sensation of heat during the treatment. It is much lighter than other fractional laser treatments.

• For the original Clear + Brilliant® Laser Treatment - topical anesthetic ointment may be applied before the procedure. Afterwards, you may have mild redness and swelling, which typically subside within a few hours.
• For the Clear + Brilliant® Perméa laser treatment – topical anesthetic may not be required. Topical skincare products, such as an antioxidant serum, will be applied to each treatment area after the treatment is administered. This combination approach is used to address post-treatment skin responses such as redness and swelling.

Clear + Brilliant® Laser Resurfacing are very gentle. You may experience mild redness and subtle inflammation immediately after treatment, almost like getting a small sunburn.These generally resolve within a few hours, but may last until the following day. Always consult your medical aesthetician about any symptoms you may be experiencing.

Clear + Brilliant® Laser Resurfacing take about 20-30 minutes to complete. Depending on the handpieces used, numbing cream may have to be applied for a period before you begin the treatment. We generally reserve 1hr for a full appointment.

Results from the Clear + Brilliant® are both immediate and progressive! Your skin will appear softer, more even toned, and more radiant after one treatment, and these fantastic GLOWY results can last up to 3 months or longer, especially when paired with great at-home care routines and in combination with other skincare treatments in the clinic, including more Clear + Brilliant® Treatment. While even one Clear + Brilliant® Resurfacing will reveal the radiance and glow within, the number of treatments is tailored to your concerns and skincare routines. In recent studies, consumers reported visible improvements after 4-6 treatments, though many clients choose to have routine treatments as part of their overall skin care regimen. Clear + Brilliant® Resurfacing may be complementary to most cosmetic procedures, like fillers or even Botox®. It is also a great treatment to incorporate into your regular skin care regime. Ask your medical aesthetician about combining your procedures in the most optimal way.

Clear + Brilliant® does have minimal downtime, especially compared to other fraxel laser systems. The laser handpieces may leave a pattern on the skin but that is normal and will go away. You may experience some redness - almost like a sunburn - but that will also usually go away within 1-2 days. Dryness of the skin for up to 4 days is also normal. No symptoms last longer than a week with usual treatment. Serious side effects are rare, but most can be avoided by proper sun avoidance before and after the procedure and following the post procedure instructions.
