Simply put Laser is attracted to pigment, if there is colour in the follicle, the laser will capture it and kill the follicle (only if it is in the growing stage)

FAQ Laser Hair Removal

How Long Does Each Session Take?

This really depends on the area being treated. In order to properly target the hair, the right amount of heat needs to be applied which takes time. For example, one session for full legs takes 60 minutes to complete.

How Much Does It Cost?

Laser Hair Removal can be affordable when done correctly. When a Laser Hair Removal service is advertised for little money and little time it’s usually not effective and one will have to constantly keep going back for treatments. Remember when looking into Laser Hair Removal treatments, always look for quality over quantity. You may be paying more but you’re saving more long term.

FAQ Laser Hair Removal

What makes the Soprano Ice Pain Free for Laser Hair Removal?

The Soprano Ice is a Medical Grade Diode Laser. What makes it pain free is its proprietary Super Hair Removal Mode (SHR). What this means is that the heat being delivered is layered on to the skin which keeps the top layer of the skin cool and the laser is going into the layer of the skin where the follicles reside and treat them. Using this technology, Laser Hair Removal sessions with Us and the Soprano Ice are comfortable, safe and most important provide results.

What is IPL?

IPL is an acronym – Intense Pulse Light. IPL is not a laser. Though there is a hand piece for hair removal, it is not an efficient way of getting rid of unwanted hair.

Is Laser Hair Removal Safe for All Skin Types?

As you read above, not all Laser Hair Removal systems are the same and not all are suited for all skin types. With that said, there is hope!

Our Soprano Ice is one of the select few machines that can treat all skin types. By using the right parameters, all skin types can achieve optimal results. Everyone from skin type six to tanned skin can be treated with us and our Soprano Ice.
